Fair play and anticheat
On Rust Italia you win with your aim and your head, not with a program. Here is how we keep the server clean and what to do if you suspect someone. Last updated: 24 October 2026.
A clean server takes work every single day
We put a lot of time into keeping cheaters off the server. Easy Anti-Cheat, the official anticheat built into Rust by Facepunch, is always on. On top of it we have developed several systems of our own that check, prevent and analyse foul play: cheats, ESP, aimbots and bug abuse.
Three layers of protection
Each one covers what the others do not see.
Easy Anti-Cheat
Rust's official anticheat, always on: it blocks known cheat programs. An Easy Anti-Cheat ban applies on every Rust server.
Our own checks
Tools we developed ourselves analyse fights, movement and statistics on the server, and flag to the staff whatever does not add up.
Every fight recorded
The server records fights: the staff can review a case even days later, with precise data rather than impressions.
✅ We have also fixed some false alarms of Rust's antihack: players who play fair are not kicked by mistake.
What we look for
Without going into detail: it would be like telling thieves where the cameras are.
- 🎯 Aimbots and aim assistance
- 👁️ ESP and wallhacks
- 🏃 Speed and fly hacks
- 🔫 No-recoil, scripts and macros
- 🐛 Bug abuse
🚫 Cheaters are banned for good, with no second chances and no negotiation: it is rule 4 of the rules. Leaderboards and prizes only make sense if everybody plays fair.
If you suspect someone
Do not accuse anyone in global chat: report it to the staff, we will deal with it.
1Note name and time
The player's nickname and the time it happened, even roughly.
2Record a clip if you can
A few seconds are enough: a clip is worth a thousand descriptions.
3Open a ticket on Discord
The staff checks it against the recorded data. Only the staff sees the ticket.
How to reach Discord

Think you were banned by mistake?
Open a ticket on Discord and explain what happened: the staff reviews the case with the recorded data. Easy Anti-Cheat bans, on the other hand, are handled by Facepunch and do not depend on us.
For security reasons we do not publish how our checks work.
