Win it by playing, claim it next wipe

Every wipe has a prize race in nine categories, open to everyone. Here is who takes part, how you make the podium and how you claim your prize. Last updated: 27 October 2026.

In short

  • At least 10 hours this wipe: you are in, no sign-up.
  • One prize per player: the richest one you win.
  • Claimed in the next wipe with !premio.

Who takes part

Everyone who plays at least 10 hours this wipe is in the race: no sign-up, nothing to type. Staff do not take part.

  • Three categories are based on time played: “Rust Is My Home”, “On a Roll” and “The Sensei”. Only players who make their hours public by typing !noprivacy in the game chat take part, even on the last day of the wipe. How it works →
  • Players who ask to hide their nickname from the website with !anonimo do not take part in the prizes: a prize is won under your own name.

The nine categories

  • 🔪 The Killer: PvP kills.
  • 💣 Raid King: raid points, as in the raid leaderboard.
  • 🏰 Master Builder: blocks built.
  • 🏠 Rust Is My Home: hours played.
  • 🔥 On a Roll: the longest run of days in a row with at least 15 minutes on the server.
  • 🥋 The Sensei: minutes spent near new players, that is with less than 10 hours this wipe.
  • 🎩 The Gentleman: polite words in chat.
  • 🏍️ The Stuntman: points from the stunt leaderboards (jumps, airtime, parachute, free fall): 10 points for first place in each, 1 for tenth.
  • 🧭 The Explorer: share of the map explored.

On a tie, the player with fewer hours goes ahead, having done the same in less time. “On a Roll” works the other way round: whoever played more wins.

Podium and prizes

In each category the top three win, with prizes in descending order: resources, blueprint fragments and themed items. Last place gets a consolation prize, strictly useless.

The prizes of the three time-based categories also unlock Workbench 1 blueprints: all of them for first place, half for second, a third for third, picked at random among those you do not know yet.

The standings are live on the Prizes page: click a category name to see it in full.

One prize per player

You can make several podiums, but you claim one prize only: the most valuable of those you won. The podium does not change and the title stays yours.

The other prizes go to the next player in that standings who has no prize yet: on the Prizes page it says “Awarded to”. That way the prizes reach more players and nobody starts the next wipe too far ahead.

🎯 Wanted

Whoever ends the wipe in first place of “The Killer” or “Raid King” becomes Wanted for the whole next wipe: there is a bounty on their head.

  • Every time you kill them, the kill counts double in “The Killer”.
  • Every raid on their base scores double points in “Raid King”.
  • Their teammates cannot collect the bounty, and the same player can collect it at most once an hour.

The current wipe's Wanted players are on the Prizes page; in the kill and raid feeds, collected bounties are marked with 🎯.

🏅 Achievements

Besides the wipe prizes there are achievements: 46 medals that stay forever and add up wipe after wipe. Each has four tiers, bronze, silver, gold and platinum, plus a few secret ones to discover.

  • They unlock by themselves as you play: kills, raids, building, gathering, exploring, helping others.
  • A tier you reach is never lost, even if the thresholds change in the future.
  • The ones based on time played only count for players who type !noprivacy in the game chat.

Your achievements are on your profile; the full list, with how many players have each tier, is on the Achievements page.

Prize day and claiming

The standings close at the wipe, on the first Thursday of the month: whoever is on the podium at that moment wins.

  1. 1Wait 48 hours
  2. 2Get somewhere safe
  3. 3Type !premio

The 48 hours start with the new wipe. The prize drops at your feet in a backpack, so it is best to claim it inside your base. You learn the Workbench 1 blueprints the moment you claim it.

If you are also last in a category, you claim the consolation prize the day after. You have until the next wipe.
